Android Studio Download
You will need to download two programs to get started. You should download Android Studio first. This is the largest program, that is why we are downloading it first. The download at the time when I wrote this is about 1.1 GB's. This may take a while based on your internet connection however.
The use of this program, is to work on your Android app projects. This application will allow you to create, edit, test, and release all the programs you make so that they can be uploaded as complete apps to google play.

Java Download
To use the above program it is necessary to download this. This is the Java Development kit. Java is the programming language that Android is written in, so you will need to download this to program to be be able to create and compile Android apps.
How to install Android Studio
